Much of Helene remnants pass southward
Sep 30, 2024
Uneventful weather kicks off the week. A cold front approaching from the west will spread rain showers across the area overnight Tuesday night into some of Wednesday morning. The front may tap a bit of limited leftover moisture from the remnants of Helene.
Wednesday will be a day of weather improvement. Lingering morning rain showers wind down then expect clearing. Right now, it appears as though a tranquil pattern will prevail late week and into the upcoming weekend. More seasonable temperatures are likely midweek and during the weekend.
