BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) -- The Kern County Coroner's Office identified a motorcyclist who was killed in a crash on Highway 178 near McCray Road in Lake Isabella on Friday. Coroner officials say Stephen Michael Prough, 60, of Weldon was the driver of a motorcycle that collided with a truck around 5 p.m. Friday. According to the California Highway Patrol, Prough was traveling eastbound on Highway 178 and the driver of a truck was stopped at a stop sign about to make a westbound turn onto Highway 178 from McCray Road. Drugs and alcohol do not appear to be factors in the crash.
