'The Nightmare Before Bar' coming to DC in October

WASHINGTON (DC News Now) -- In just a few days, a "Nightmare Bar" will come to life in the Washington, D.C. area, bringing an eerie and thriller experience.
On Oct. 5, the National Union Building will host "The Nightmare Before Bar." The Halloween-themed bar will be inspired by horror and Tim Burton movies. Burton is known for directing "Beetlejuice," "Corpse Bride," "Alice in Wonderland," "Edward Scissorhands," "Sleepy Hollow" and more.
The bar will stay in D.C. until Sunday, Nov. 3.
5th annual Nightmare in Navy Yard coming to DC for Halloween celebration
Bargoers can expect a 90-minute themed experience, creative Halloween-themed drinks, games hosted by ghosts and ghouls and more. The event is strictly for adults 21 and up, and guests are encouraged to wear Halloween costumes.
Organizers said "The Nightmare Before Bar" will have limited spaces, and tickets must be purchased to reserve a spot.
