Matt Sheppard loves running his modified stock car at the Utica-Rome Speedway. This Savannah racer made sixteen trips to the half-mile Vernon oval this season and came away with thirteen feature wins and the 2024 Utica-Rome track championship,Sheppard’s latest U-R triumph came Saturday night in the forty-lap, Working Man’s Special for Short Track Super Series modifieds and the victor got out front early and cruised to the $4,000 victory.
