SANTA FE, N.M. (KRQE) – Twelve New Mexico companies have received funds for job training for September care of the Job Training Incentive Program (JTIP). Officials say September funding could assist up to 177 New Mexico workers. Governor appoints new Economic Development Secretary According to a press release from the Department of Economic Development, the jobs approved in September will have an average wage between $20 and $86 per hour. Eight of the companies awarded money are returning further to expand their employment with the help of the JTIP, while four are applying for the first time. The total amount awarded in September is just over $2.4 million. More information on the JTIP is available on the EDD website.
