COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– Anyone in the Midlands with power can check out these resources as the state still recovers from Hurricane Helene.   Town of Batesburg-Leesville: The town hall is operational for resources for people. Depot Park will be restored with another generator, which will be operational until 7 p.m. Sandwiches are available at Depot Park from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. and an evening serving from 5 p.m. until 6 p.m. Lexington Medical Center in Leesville has water and snacks available while supplies last, according to the Town of Batesburg-Leesville.   Newberry: The Newberry YMCA is open for anyone in the community that need a place to shower. People who arrive to the YMCA should go to the member services desk when you arrive.   Forest Acres: Rockbridge Club has opened some of its facilities to the public so people without resources can go to the pool house for a hot shower, or the hall to charge their devices and get some AC.
