COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– Several school districts are offering free food pick up for students as schools continue to be closed after Hurricane Helene Newberry County: Food pick-up sites: Newberry High School, Mid-Carolina High School, and the Whitmire Community Center on Monday, September 30, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. District officials say the sites will also be open for internet access and charging stations. eLearning is continuing through Wednesday, October 2, with assignment deadlines announced once power has been restored to the county.   Richland Two: Richland Two students pickup site for breakfast and lunch at the following locations: Bethel Elementary Pontiac Elementary Kelly Mill Middle Killian Elementary Dent Middle Operations of breakfast and lunch: Breakfast: 7:30 a.m. – 9:00 a.m Lunch: 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m   Lexington Two: Free lunch meals: Monday between 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at Pine Ridge Middle, Cayce Elementary, and Riverbank Elementary. All classes and activities have been canceled on Monday, September 30.   Richland One: Meal pickup at the following locations: Carver-Lyon Elementary School – 2100 Waverly Street, Columbia, S.C. 29204 Eau Claire High School – 4800 Monticello Road, Columbia, S.C. 29203 Lower Richland High School – 2615 Lower Richland Boulevard, Hopkins, S.C. 29061 Richland One Central Kitchen – 1224 Whitney Street, Columbia, S.C. 29201 Food pickup time: 9 a.m. to noon.
