Man charged for making threats against Canisius High School

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A Buffalo man is facing charges after he allegedly made a threat against Canisius High School on Friday, police said Monday.
Adam Hovey, 54, is accused of calling the school and leaving a threatening message. He was arrested on the same day he made the call after a risk protection order was granted.

Police also said Monday that an investigation determined that he also left a threatening message at the school on Aug. 29.
He is charged with making a terroristic threat, a felony, and making a threat of mass harm, a misdemeanor.
