Bismarck woman killed in twovehicle crash near Sterling

STERLING, ND (KXNET) — A 41-year-old Bismarck woman was killed Sunday night in a crash about seven miles east of Sterling.
According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, the woman was traveling east on Interstate 94 September 29 when she apparently lost control of her vehicle, which crossed the median into the westbound lanes and into a semi-trailer.
Her car hit the driver's side of the semi and was then run over by the rear trailer tires.
The Bismarck woman was pronounced dead at the scene and transported to Bismarck by Kidder County Ambulance to a local funeral home.
The driver of the semi, a 73-year-old Mora, Minnesota man, was not injured in the crash.
The incident remains under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
