FORECAST DISCUSSION:
This afternoon we will continue to see a few scattered rain showers. Very little additional rain accumulation is expected. Highs will be in the mid 70s. That is a tad above normal for the end of September. The humidity will still be fairly elevated. This will play a role in the weather we are expecting tonight.
While are rain chances continue to decrease, the chance for patchy fog will increase. Areas of patchy fog are expected to develop, especially while many are heading out the door for the morning commute. Overnight lows are only dropping to the low 60s. This is still 10 degrees above average for this time of year.
Tomorrow brings the last few rain chances to Central Ohio for a while. Temperatures will also see a slight bump and warm up to the upper 70s. Late in the evening a cold front will push through the region. This will move all the moisture from the remnants of Helene of to our east and bring in clearer skies will much cooler and drier air.
Wednesday on the back end of that front, it will be much drier conditions and cooler air. Sunshine will stick around for the second half of the work week. The Crew match Wednesday evening, Football Friday Nite, the Buckeyes home game Saturday, and all other outdoor activates will be able to enjoy very pleasant feeling weather conditions.
