ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — A man is in the hospital following a shooting on Dewey Avenue late Sunday night. Officers arrived at Dewey Ave. around 9:45 p.m. for a ShotSpotter activation but later learned the victim was taken to Rochester General Hospital. The victim, a male in his 20s, was shot at least once and is being treated for his injuries. He is expected to survive. RPD says they have no suspects in custody for this shooting and are asking anyone with information to call 911.
