WABAUNSEE COUNTY (KSNT) - A 61-year-old man and a 78-year-old woman were seriously injured after a motorcycle crash on K4 Highway on Sunday. At 1:33 p.m. the 61-year-old was driving a 2008 Harley-Davidson and the 78-year-old was driving a 2013 Harley-Davidson east on K4. The 78-year-old tried to slow down to turn north on Main Street but was rear-ended by the 61-year-old, according to the Kansas Highway Patrol (KHP) crash log. Both drivers were thrown from their motorcycles. The KHP said they were both wearing helmets. Both drivers were taken to an area hospital for treatment of serious injuries, according to the KHP.
