Photo by Mike Lawrence/NBAE via Getty Images The credit building app adds the Spurs Emirates NBA Cup Games to its portfolio Per a Spurs press release: The San Antonio Spurs announced that Self Financial (Self) will continue to serve as the official credit building app of the team for a third season, becoming the team’s presenting partner of their Emirates NBA Cup games and the presenting partner of Spurs Her Time to Play. Self will continue to be a supporting partner of the I-35 Series which highlights the connection of fans throughout South and Central Texas. Chief Marketing Officer at Self Brett Billick stated, “With the mission-driven nature of our partnership and shared values with the Spurs, we’ve seen great success in the first two years. We’re excited to participate in additional events this season that offer more opportunities to engage directly with fans and the Spurs community.” Self adds Spurs Her Time to Play to their list of initiatives. The Jr. WNBA programs fosters an inclusive environment for young female athletes. Self will also continue involvement in the Spurs Community Leadership Institute along with Frost, bringing nonprofit leaders together to collaborate on pressing issues across the local community. Frank Miceli, Chief Commercial Officer at Spurs Sports & Entertainment stated, “We’re touched by Self’s passionate and unwavering support of pivotal impact programs such as SCLI and Her Time to Play, as they work hand-in-hand with us to help shape the leaders of tomorrow. The work we’ve led together in the first two years of this partnership has been incredibly fulfilling for our organization, and we’re looking forward to new opportunities in this third season. We commend Self for always seeking transformative ways to engage with our team, our fans and our community in pursuit of building talent and dreams alongside us.” Self is ending their term as the team’s jersey patch partner which has adorned Spurs jerseys for the last two seasons.
