HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- 8News is shedding light on the opioid epidemic in Central Virginia through its Fighting Fentanyl series. On Tuesday, Oct. 8, the Mobilize Recovery Across America bus tour will be arriving in Henrico County to spread awareness about the epidemic. From 5 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 8 at the McShin Foundation's building, located at 2300 Dumbarton Road, attendees will come together to enjoy Virginia barbecue and a live music performance by Whey Jennings. Vendors will be in attendance and free Narcan will be available. Attendees will also hear from speakers multiple local organizations dedicated to recovery.
