INDIANAPOLIS – Police say a person died after being hit by a vehicle on the northwest side. Indianapolis Metropolitan police were dispatched just after 6 a.m. to the 4000 block of North High School Road where they found a person down. Investigators believe a vehicle struck the individual. IMPD said North High School Road will be shut down from Gateway Drive to Commons Drive. The IMPD Fatal Crash Investigation Team has been called to the scene. The incident remains under investigation.
