Albion teen charged with felony after being linked to Snapchat threat

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) – A 14-year-old student of the Albion School District was arrested Sunday, accused of making a threatening post on Snapchat over a week ago while chatting with friends.
The nature of the threat or what it entailed was not detailed by authorities.
According to deputies in Orleans County, the investigation began after the post was reported to local law enforcement. The Orleans County Sheriff's Office announced it's been working with the school district to ensure the safety of students.

The teenager was charged with making a terroristic threat, a Class D felony, before being released on an appearance ticket, as per New York State law.
