KANSAS CITY (KSNT) - The beginning of the 2024 football season has not gone the way many would expected for the Kansas Jayhawks. Lance Leipold and his team sit at 1-4 through week five, with only two of those losses coming in conference play. After KU football fell to TCU for its fourth-straight loss on Saturday, Kansas City Star beat reporter Shreyas Laddha joined K-Nation's Caroline Soro to share his thoughts on what's next for the Jayhawks. "[KU's] got to win against Arizona State Saturday, then you go into the bye week, you try to regroup, try to get better" Laddha said. "You kind of try to figure out, 'Hey this is the second half of the season,' look at what happened in the first six weeks." Laddha also discussed key moments from KU's matchup against TCU, as well as the bigger picture for this year's team. The full interview with Laddha aired in Sunday's episode of K-Nation, and can be watched above.
