3 arrested during Grant County drug bust

JONESBORO, Ind. — Three people were arrested during a drug bust in Grant County on Friday.
According to a press release from the Jonesboro Police Department, an officer conducting proactive patrol operations noticed the smell of narcotics coming from a residence in the 100 block of West 6th Street. The officer subsequently began to investigate the residence, coming into contact with a group of subjects.
Upon contacting the group, the officers observed a female fleeing the area.
As police's investigation continued, they found 46.5 grams of packaged cocaine, 86 grams of packaged marijuana, 80 grams of THC edibles, 14.8 grams of an unknown substance, 4.5 grams of LSD, THC wax, manufacturing cutting agents and $968 in cash. Police also seized three 9mm handguns, 1,000 rounds of 9mm ammunition and 300 rounds of 5.56mm ammunition.

Two males — Justin Miller and Wesley Gordon — were immediately arrested. The woman who police believed fled the scene — Daniela Valdovinos — was also arrested.
All of the individuals police detained now face more than five preliminary charges each:

JPD reported that the Grant County Sheriff's Office and the Gas City Police Department assisted with its investigation. The arrestees were booked into the Grant Count Jail.
