ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) – An attempted break-in at a Tops gas station location on Winton Road lead to a short police pursuit overnight Sunday. Rochester police said they reported to the Tops around 2 a.m. and discovered a damaged door where suspects attempted to gain access to the building but were unsuccessful. Officers received a description of the vehicle that left the location and located it a short time later and it fled leading to a short pursuit. Eventually officers lost sight of the vehicle. There have been no arrests made at this time. Anyone with information is asked to call 911.
