Low clouds with patchy fog will return overnight as lows slip back into the low and mid 50s. Plenty of clouds will start our Monday morning off, but as we head into the afternoon there will be some breaks of sunshine as highs reach right around 70 degrees with a light easterly breeze. We’ll continue to see a good deal of clouds again Tuesday and Wednesday, but High pressure to our Northeast will manage to keep any rain, from what was left of Helene, well to the south of New England. However, as a cold front approaches for Wednesday night that will be the possible trigger for stray shower late Wednesday afternoon or evening. Although, any rain amounts may barely be measurable. Highs Tuesday will be in the upper 60s to near 70° and the mid 60s Wednesday. High pressure returns for Thursday and Friday bringing a good deal of sunshine and a slight warming trend taking us back into the low and mid 70s.
