MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- A woman was arrested on Sunday after Memphis Police say she stabbed her ex-boyfriend in his sleep.
At 4:55 a.m., officers responded to an aggravated assault call in the 600 block of McKellar Avenue.

Upon arrival, officers located a male victim who was suffering from a stab wound to the right arm.
The victim said that he had just broken up with his girlfriend Lesteonia King.

The victim said that he was asleep in bed when King came into the room and allegedly stabbed him in the right arm.
The victim was taken to Regional One Hospital in non-critical condition.
MPD: Man fatally shot while trying to stop woman from being abused
Officers recovered a black box cutter which was used in the incident.
King was taken into custody and charged with aggravated assault.
