MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- A woman was killed and another person was injured after crashing into a house, Memphis Police say. At 8:34 p.m. on Saturday, investigators arrived at the scene of a fatal crash on Jackson Avenue & Dickinson Street. A Nissan Armada was traveling eastbound on Jackson Avenue when it swerved over a median, struck a fence in front of 1629 Jackson Avenue and then continued east striking the residence at 1643 Jackson Avenue. Woman fatally struck by bus on Union; man hit by SUV trying to help her The driver was transported to Regional One where she succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced deceased. The passenger was transported to Regional One Hospital in non-critical condition.
