GREENSBORO, N.C. (WGHP) — An arrest has been made in connection to the 2023 homicide of Lanceford Ross Williams, 37, according to police. On Friday, Travis Jamar Green, 29, was arrested and charged with first-degree murder by the Greensboro Police Department's Homicide Unit. Green was originally charged on March 1, 2023, the day of the shooting, with accessory after the fact to homicide and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. He has been in custody at the Guilford County Jail since that time.
