ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Today will feature more rain, mist and drizzle. Helene's remnants will continue to spin over parts of the Ohio Valley with its outer bands reaching Western New York. You can expect the rain, mist and drizzle to last throughout the day, specifically during the morning hours. It will then very slowly begin to taper off throughout the evening hours, when we will be left with overcast skies. High temperatures for today will reach the low 70s and low temperatures will only reach the low 60s because of the cloud cover. Our work week will start off dry and warm. Cloud skies remain dominant throughout the day on Monday. Temperatures don't budge much, remaining in the low 70s for highs. The sun returns to our skies for the first half of the day on Tuesday, ahead of a cold front. High temperatures will raise a few degrees, getting up into the mid 70s. Clouds will start to move in during the second half of the day. The front is expected to pass through late Tuesday evening and into Wednesday morning, bringing rain. 8-Day Forecast Rain will linger into Wednesday morning, but will eventually clear out during the afternoon hours. Behind the front, temperatures will take a hit, only reaching the mid 60s for highs. But, the cooler temperatures do not last very long. We will be dry for the end of our week. The sun will return to our skies for Thursday as temperatures soar back up into the low to mid 70s. Some clouds will move back into the area for Friday, giving us a mixture of sun and clouds throughout the day. Temperatures will once again reach the low 70s for highs. Low temperatures for both days will dip down into the low 50s, maybe even into the upper 40s. Next weekend looks to start off on the wetter side. Scattered showers are expected for Saturday with high temperatures staying below the 70° mark. However, showers are expected to clear out for the second half with the sun returning to ours skies.
