(KRON) – A person was fatally shot at the McClymonds Alumni Action Committee reunion picnic at DeFremery Park on Saturday night, according to Oakland Mayor Sheng Thao.  The shooting occurred in the 1600 block of Adeline Street.  1 hospitalized after Sunday morning shooting in Antioch “I am deeply saddened there was a shooting at the McClymonds Alumni Action Committee reunion picnic at DeFremery Park. We will not tolerate this type of violence, especially at a peaceful annual gathering,” Thao continues. “My heart is with the family of the victim and the entire McClymonds and West Oakland community.
