EFFINGHAM COUNTY, Ga. (WSAV) - If you need a break from the heat, Effingham County is opening a cooling shelter at the Clarence E. Morgan Complex gym on Sunday, from 12 p.m. - 7 p.m. and on Monday, from 9 a.m. - 7 p.m. The gym is located at 1750 Hwy. 21 South in Springfield. Chatham Co. cooling, charging, shower centers open
