CRANSTON, R.I. (WLNE) — St. Vincent De Paul Rhode Island held its annual Friends of the Poor Walk Sunday.
The funds raised from the event go towards assisting individuals and families facing economic hardship.
“There are walks being held by St. Vincent De Paul [councils] all over the country today,” Executive Director Renee Brissette said. “It’s a time for us to get together with the community and raise funds for our Rhode Island Families in need.”
More information on the walk can be found here.
