BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — The official trailer for an upcoming horror movie, starring Michael B. Jordan and featuring scenes filmed in Ascension Parish, has been released. According to Warner Bros. Pictures, "Sinners" is about twin brothers returning to their hometown and leaving their troubled lives behind "only to discover that an even greater evil is waiting to welcome them back." Jordan stars in a dual role as the twins. The movie was filmed in parts of Louisiana including Donaldsonville, New Orleans, Belle Chasse, St. Bernard, Braithwaite, Tickfaw, Hammond, Napoleonville and Thibodaux. Hailee Steinfeld, Jack O’Connell, Wunmi Mosaku, Jayme Lawson, Omar Benson Miller and Delroy Lindo are also in the cast. "Sinners" was directed by Ryan Coogler and is scheduled to be released in the US on March 7, 2025.
