SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV)-Chatham County will have free ice for those who need it on Sunday. Chatham County Emergency Management (CEMA) said that free ice will be distributed at two locations. Salvation Army of Savannah will be supporting the distribution. Free ice will be distributed in 7-pound bags, at a limit of two per vehicle, CEMA said. Ice will be available while supplies last and ice supply will be refreshed on a daily basis. Ice bags will be distributed at L. Scott Stell Park and Memorial Stadium on Sunday, Sept. 29 from 9 a.m.–7 p.m. Ice Distribution will continue at both locations from Monday, Sept. 30 until Sunday, Oct. 6, from 7 a.m.–7 p.m. Timeline subject to change based on power restoration.
