NEW MEXICO (KRQE) – New Mexicans interested in the dental industry will soon have easier access to training. Earlier this week, the New York-based Touro College of Dental Medicine broke ground on New Mexico's first undergraduate clinical training facility located on the Lovelace Biomedical Research Institute Campus. Corrales celebrates autumn with annual harvest festival The 70,000-square-foot facility will include both educational and clinical space and will house more than 100 units for specialty care like oral surgery and pediatric dentistry. The college said the new facility will help offer much-needed, low-cost oral healthcare to under-served communities, especially the pueblos. The facility is set to be completed by May 2025.
