The Latest Northeast Wisconsin Forecast From Storm Team 5... This run of amazing weather has continued onward into the weekend, with plentiful sunshine and temperatures running in the upper 70s and low 80s away from the water today. Only change from recent is it has been a but breezy today with a few gusts 20-25mph. For tonight, I'm expecting more of the same with mostly clear skies and temperatures to fall back into the 50s with a few 40s up north. Patchy fog is possible lakeside during the late overnight hours. Big game tomorrow over at Lambeau Field and it will be a perfect, late summer day for a football game. Temperatures will be in the upper 60s for tailgating, low 70s for kickoff and will warm into the middle and upper 70s for highs. Mostly sunny skies once again with a NE wind breezy at times around 10-15mph. This late summer warmth will continue on into Monday with mostly sunny skies, a breezy north wind and temperatures into the middle and upper 70s. A pattern shift will enter Tuesday courtesy of a cool fall front and this will help to bring temperatures down closer to average for the middle of next week. In terms of rain, we need it badly and this front will bring a quick rain chance overnight Monday, but nothing that will cut into our deficit any time soon. Latest drought monitor has parts of the Northwoods in a moderate drought and based on these trends, this will persist. Temperatures return to the 70s for a few days to close out the week.
