MITCHELL, Wis. (WFRV) - On Saturday afternoon, a motorcyclist in Sheboygan County was flown by Flight for Life to a Wisconsin hospital after being thrown from their motorcycle while trying to navigate a turn. According to the Sheboygan County Sheriff's Office, the incident happened around 1:05 p.m. on September 28 on CTH F at CTH W in the Town of Mitchell. A witness reportedly told deputies that a motorcycle was traveling at a normal speed while passing in a designated zone. After passing, the motorcyclist lost control on a gravel shoulder on a turn as they tried to move back into the westbound lane. Driver crashes after speeding through ‘road closed’ barricades in Outagamie County, extricated with Jaws of Life Before getting back onto the road, the motorcycle reportedly hit the entrance to a driveway and culvert area, throwing them off of the bike. The driver was taken to Froedtert Hospital by Flight for Life. They were reportedly wearing a helmet during the crash. Local 5 will update this story when more information is provided.
