Central Ohio Weather and Radar Rainfall totals in the past 24 hours ranged from 1-2 inches in parts of the Columbus area to locally 3-6 inches in a band through the south-central part of the state. In many places, the rain made a dent in the nearly four-month drought. The remnants of Hurricane Helene lingering in western Kentucky will slowly pivot east, after having merged with an upper-level low.
