AMELIA COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- Virginia State Police is investigating a deadly pedestrian crash that led to the death of a juvenile male after he was hit by a vehicle in a driveway Friday evening in Amelia County. According to Virginia State Police, troopers received a call at around 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 27 for a juvenile male who was struck by a vehicle in a private driveway in the 12000 block of Old Chula Road. According to officials, a 2017 Chevrolet was moving in the driveway when the juvenile male moved into the driveway and was hit by the vehicle. Virginia State Police said the juvenile male was taken to an area medical facility, where he later died due to his injuries. Virginia State Police continues to investigate this incident.
