HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- In honor of National Ghost Hunting Day on Saturday, Henrico County Recreation and Parks is launching a challenge in its app for the chance for participants to win a prize. According to a Saturday, Sept. 28 Facebook post, Henrico County Recreation and Parks is launching a Ghost Hunting Challenge in its app for the chance for participants to be entered into a raffle to win prizes. Those who download or have the Henrico Recreation and Parks App can search for a ghost named Sarah Ellen Rose at different sites across the county who will give information about a program or event happening during "spooky season." According to Henrico County Recreation and Parks, those who find Sarah Ellen Rose will "check-in" by filling in the blank with the word that appears in an image. Those who check-in at three ghost sighting locations will be entered into a raffle for the chance to win a Halloween decoration, with a total of three prizes available to win. According to Henrico County Recreation and Parks, winners will be announced on Friday, Oct. 25.
