NEW BEDFORD, Mass. (WLNE) — The New Bedford Fire Department said that a fire at a mill on Sept. 27 affected the entire building. Firefighters responded to Healey Street around 11:30 p.m. to find a fire extending from the loading dock. The department said that firefighters who entered the building saw the fire extend up through all four of the mill’s floors. The fire did not affect any nearby properties and there were no injuries.
