Report: More than half of SC Customers still without power

Columbia, S.C. (WOLO)– As South Carolinians wake up the morning after Hurricane Helene, most are still in the dark.
According to poweroutage.us , 1,063,143 out of the more than 2 million in the state are still without power.
One of the state’s largest energy providers, Dominion says as of 10am Saturday 190,974 customers are still without power.
A statement on Dominion’s website says more than 2,500 employees have fanned out across the service area in an effort to restore power as soon as possible.
