CHARLOTTE, N.C. – An investigation is underway after a home in west Charlotte was intentionally set on fire, according to the Charlotte Fire Department.
Charlotte Fire responded to a home on Thriftwood Drive near Freedom Drive around midnight. Firefighters quickly controlled the fire without any injuries.
Upon further investigation, it was determined the house was vacant and that the fire was intentionally set. The fire caused approximately $26,000 in damages.
