LANCASTER, S.C. – Three people were arrested on drug charges following a search warrant at a home in Lancaster, South Carolina, according to the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office. Investigators began looking into 38-year-old Dusty Faile’s activities after he allegedly sold methamphetamine from his home on Catoe Road. A search warrant was obtained, and Faile and two women, 41-year-old Lora Duncan and 40-year-old Jennifer Whitaker, were detained at the home. In the search, agents found 69.25 grams of methamphetamine, 1.71 grams of fentanyl, 51.62 grams of marijuana, and alprazolam pills, the sheriff’s office said. A smoking pipe, scales and drug paraphernalia were also seized at the residence. Faile was charged with the following: Trafficking methamphetamine, 28-100 grams Distribution of methamphetamine Possession with intent to distribute fentanyl Possession with intent to distribute alprazolam (Xanax) Possession with intent to distribute marijuana Duncan and Whitaker were each charged with possession with intent to distribute fentanyl and possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine. “We are very familiar with Faile and Duncan, and I am pleased that we were able to catch them at this house with the drugs present,” said Sheriff Barry Faile. “We got about 2 ½ ounces of Methamphetamine and some Fentanyl, Marijuana, and Xanax off the streets and out of the hands of folks who would have illegally used them. Thanks to SLED and Homeland Security for their help with this investigation.” Faile was denied bond. Duncan was issued a $24,000 bond while Whitaker was issued a $10,000 bond.
