MINOT, ND (KXNET) — A man has been arrested and is facing multiple charges after a police pursuit on the evening of Friday, September 27th. According to the Minot Police Department, officers attempted a traffic stop in the 1400 block of 16th Street Southwest, but its driver and sole occupant — a 30-year-old man from Natchez, Mississippi — fled, initiating a short vehicle pursuit. The vehicle eventually collided with a tree near the UND Center for Family Medicine, and while the suspect fled on foot, he was quickly apprehended without further incident. The suspect was wanted in connection with multiple charges — including Robbery, Domestic Violence, Terrorizing, and Serious Bodily Injury — from an earlier incident occurring on September 25th. The man was arrested and charged with Theft of a Motor Vehicle and Fleeing in a Motor Vehicle in the Commission of a Felony, both Class-C Felonies, in addition to his previous charges.
