BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPOUD) — Central High School proved why they are one of the best teams in the state. The Wildcats shut out the fifth-ranked 4A team, the Cecilia High School Bulldogs, 27-0.
Camden Rankin set the tone early, forcing a fumble in the first quarter, and giving Central the ball. Wildcats' quarterback Jackson Firmin took no time to capitalize on the turnover, keeping it himself for a rushing touchdown.
Central's brutal schedule continues as they host Lafayette Christian Academy up next.
