Happy Saturday, DMV! After the early morning showers dry conditions will be seen as we head through the rest of your Saturday. Some morning fog will be possible but the fog will dissipate as the sun continues to shine across the area. Highs today will reach the 80s making it a nice Saturday across the DMV. Come tonight, clouds will roll back into the area, and a slight chance of an isolated shower will be possible but most of the evening will be dry. Overnight lows for most will be dipping into the 60s. Enjoy the quiet, sunny, and dry conditions on Saturday, because as we head into your Sunday the showers and storms will move back into the area. The remnants of Helene will be absorbed by a storm system and bring isolated rain and thunderstorm chances back to the DMV. Highs for Sunday will reach into the 70s. The soggy conditions will continue through at least Tuesday as the storm system moves out of the area. The good news is the next couple of days do not look to be a washout. Highs Monday and Tuesday are expected to reach into the 70s. Areas that have seen rain each day have the chance of seeing fog overnight into the early morning hours. The storm system will move out of the area by Tuesday. However, a cold front will move into the DMV by mid week providing us with another chance of a stray shower.
