I am writing to announce a new resource for our community hosted by the Christian Center of Park City Counseling and Wellness Center — the Family & Caregiver Support Group. This initiative, which began this week, will provide a safe, supportive environment for individuals caring for family members with mental illness. This clinician-led group will meet every other Wednesday at 6:15 p.m. at the Christian Center on Deer Valley Drive, offering caregivers a place to connect, share experiences, and seek guidance. Participants can expect to meet others facing similar challenges, receive professional support, and find comfort in knowing they are not alone on their journey. The group is open to all and completely free of charge. We ask that interested attendees RSVP at least 24 hours in advance through our website at www.ccofpc.org to ensure we are prepared to provide a welcoming and personalized experience. As our community continues to grow, mental health support for caregivers is more crucial than ever. I encourage anyone in need of support or guidance in caring for a loved one with mental illness to take advantage of this opportunity. Together, we can foster a community of empathy, understanding and hope.Thank you for helping us spread the word about this critical program.
