FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) - An investigation is underway after a tree nut harvester was reported stolen in Sanger, the Fresno County Sheriff's Office said. Deputies say their Ag Task Force detectives are conducting an investigation after a 2019 Jackrabbit Jackrunner was stolen out of a ranch located near East Tulare and North Academy avenues in Sanger between Sept. 21 and Sept. 23. According to the Sherrif's Office, this piece of equipment is a T4 model that is used to harvest and transport tree nuts. It is a critical tool needed for the farmer to continue his business operation. The tree nut harvester has an estimated value of $160,000. Anyone with information on the whereabouts of this vehicle is asked to contact the Sheriff's Office at 559-600-3111.
