The Miners football squad sent regional foe Cottonwood home with a blowout loss Friday night, defeating them 63-0.The game got out of hand early, with Park City scoring 28 first quarter points under the Dozier Field lights. The Miners would tack on 26 more in the second quarter and a late touchdown in the fourth. Junior Charlie Cuismano runs the ball up the sideline. The Miners dominated with a rushing by committee approach, in the absence of their star running back Eli Warner, who suffered an ankle sprain in last week’s loss at Stansbury. Ethan Cunningham led with three touchdowns, and Owen Osorio, Levi Michaelis and quarterback Bash Bodily each having one. The team will next take on Jordan next Friday at 7 p.m. on the road. Park City’s regular season home finale and senior night will be Thursday, Oct. 10 at 7 p.m. against Tooele.
