The storm made landfall around the Big Bend of Florida as a Category 4 storm, bringing a catastrophic storm surge, destructive winds and flooding rains. The storm will is moving from Georgia into Tennessee and continues to weaken. The system continues to weaken in intensity. Last night, Helene made landfall in the Big Bend of Florida.
