DESTREHAN, La. (WGNO) — A fire "engulfed" a Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen restaurant in Destrehan Friday, Sept. 27. According to the St. Charles Parish Sheriff's Office, both the Popeyes, located at 13510 Longview Drive, as well other buildings in the shopping area, were affected by the fire. The entire strip has since been evacuated. The public is asked avoid the area if possible.
