Hood was subsequently transported to an area hospital in "serious but stable" condition. The images featured in the edited footage were gathered from an officer's body-worn camera that was activated during the shooting.  Following the incident, IMPD added that Hood appeared to be firing a weapon outside while he was at the residence. Detectives reportedly located shell casings indicating that the gunfire struck a car and a home. IMPD confirmed that no officers or uninvolved citizens were injured during this incident.
