The Latest Northeast Wisconsin Forecast from Storm Team 5... Just a beautiful day across the area with temperatures reaching the upper 70s and low 80s this afternoon. Cooler conditions lakeside with a NE wind 5-15 mph. For Friday Night Lights games, looking great for that with temperatures sitting in the 60s, overnight lows will fall into the 50s. Have to watch for patchy fog to develop once again, but nothing widespread. High pressure to our northwest will continue to prevail and keep the remnants of Helene off to our south, so temperatures on Saturday will reach the upper 70s and low 80s once again. A breezy NE wind 10-15mph with gusts to 20mph will bring cooler conditions lakeside. The gusts have prompted a Small Craft Advisory for the near shore waters of Lake Michigan. Overall, great weather for Octoberfest in Appleton this weekend. For the Packers home game at Lambeau on Sunday, tailgating temperatures will sit in the upper 60s, warming to the low 70s by game time and high temperatures in the upper 70s. 70s roll on into Monday before a cool front slides in Tuesday and brings temperatures into the mid 60s. We need the rain and this front will not bring it, cant rule out a small rain chance Tuesday morning though. This is not great news for our worsening drought conditions statewide. After that high pressure returns for the rest of the week.
