GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) - Students and faculty at Edison Middle School spent their Friday outdoors, working to build an outdoor classroom to enjoy for years to come. The classroom has been envisioned for a while for the science department at the school, according to 8th-grade science teacher Scott Stromberger. Pick ‘n Save collecting donations for Hunger Action Month to benefit families in need "They can get a good base here of how a plant scientist works, how to grow their own food and how to take care of plants," Stromberger said. Stromberger added that it will also benefit their futures and further on as the continue their educational journeys. The outdoor classroom and the greenhouse projects were made possible through a partnership between the Department of Natural Resources and the American Transmission Company.
